These fine students represent a part of why we theatre is so important to our community. To quote from their application letters:
“It was at the theatre where I learned to have confidence in myself. When I entered the theatre I was a shy kid who would only speak to people she knew. I auditioned for a play due to the fact that my friend wanted me to. Little did I know that I would come out eight years later a girl who can hold a conversation with anyone and who plans on acting the rest of her life. Not professionally but, still acting. The environment and the people in the theatre really helped me become the person I am today.”
“I am an outgoing person who hopes to make his way into a world with theatre as an essential in my life. I intend to work as hard as I can to meet the expectations I have set for myself. I have always enjoyed working with other volunteers at Theatre Coppell and, I always love every show I see.”
Theatre Coppell is able to provide these scholarships through the generous support of our patrons.
