Theatre Coppell Update
Friends of Theatre Coppell:
After 31 years, it’s hard for our theatre to be idle. Unfortunately, just about all we can do is wait until things improve enough that our patrons can join us again for live performances and actors can be expected to appear on stage. So our future schedule depends on the coronavirus. It also depends on the opening of Coppell’s new Arts Center because our next show will take place there. It is good news that the Center will be able to open before we can mount our next show, which means we can concentrate on the show and not worry about waiting on construction.
I am hoping that our next show will still be the popular Broadway musical “Little Shop of Horrors.” Once we can accomplish that show, we will be in good shape to resume a standard season, and I am already preparing an exciting lineup of new productions.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. You will be needed even more than ever as we enter this new era.
In the meantime, you may want take advantage of an exciting entertainment event at the new Arts Center – an old-fashioned, family-friendly drive-in movie series that will take place on most weekends this summer.
