Silhouettes of three women with arms raised against a sunset

February 23 – March 10, 2024

Crimes of the Heart

By Beth Henley

Warm-hearted, irreverent, zany and brilliantly imaginative, the play teems with humanity and humor as it examines the plight of three young Mississippi sisters betrayed by their passions. The three MaGrath sisters are back together in their hometown of Hazelhurst, Mississippi, for the first time in a decade. Under the scorching heat of the Mississippi sun, past resentments bubble to the surface and each sister must come to terms with the consequences of her own “crimes of the heart.”

A drawing of a pig and a spider's web, with the text: "Charlotte's Web"

April 5 – 21, 2024

Charlotte's Web

Based on the book by E.B. White; adapted by Joseph Robinette

The Children's Literature Association named this "the best American children's book of the past two hundred years." All the enchanting characters are here: Wilbur, the irresistible young pig; Fern, a girl who understands what animals say to each other; Templeton, the gluttonous rat; the Zuckerman family; the Arables; and, most of all, the extraordinary spider, Charlotte, who proves to be a true friend and a good writer. Determined to save Wilbur, Charlotte begins her campaign with the "miracle" of her web in which she writes, "Some pig." It's the beginning of a victorious campaign which ultimately ends with the now-safe Wilbur doing what is most important to Charlotte. This is a beautiful, knowing play about friendship that provides an evening of enchantment.

A field of flowers that reads: "Dream bigger. Big Fish"

June 7 – 23, 2024

Big Fish (Musical)

Music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa; Book by John August

Big Fish centers on Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest… and then some! Edward’s incredible, larger-than-life stories thrill everyone around him – most of all, his devoted wife, Sandra. But their son, Will, about to have a child of his own, is determined to find the truth behind his father’s epic tales. Overflowing with heart, humor and spectacular stagecraft, Big Fish is an extraordinary musical that reminds us why we love going to the theatre – for an experience that’s richer, funnier and BIGGER than life itself.

A map of Texas with a microphone, with the text "Greater Tuna"

July 26 – August 11, 2024

Greater Tuna

By Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard

Greater Tuna is a comedy about a small town named Tuna, Texas's third-smallest town. The wacky inhabitants of this town -- men, women, children and animals -- are all played by two skillful, transformative actors who must change parts at a rather breakneck speed and use inventive voicework. Two actors, 20 characters, and a barrel of laughs.

A lit candle and the text: "The Diary of Anne Frank"

September 20 – October 6, 2024

The Diary of Anne Frank

By Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett

The Diary of Anne Frank is one of the most famous and haunting stories to emerge from the 20th century. The memoirs of this young Jewish girl, forced to hide for nearly two years to escape Nazi persecution, are an essential part of how we remember one of the darkest periods of our human history. In spite of her oppressive circumstances and the horrors that surround her, Anne’s spirit transcends, as she voices her belief, “in spite of everything, that people are truly good at heart.” Anne’s dynamism, her luminous spirit, and her story of resilience continue to resonate deeply, making her story as vital today as when her diary first was published.

Christmas wreaths, a candle, and the text: "Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol"

December 6 – 22, 2024

A Christmas Carol

Based on the novel by Charles Dickens

Bah! Humbug! Scrooge hates Christmas and despises any sentimentality that leads to good will and charity, even toward his own family. It takes ghosts with a dire prophecy to convince him that mankind should be everyone’s business. Eventually, Tiny Tim utters the legendary anthem of the best of all holidays: “God bless us, every one!”
