A forest scene with the Northern Lights above. The text is: "Almost, Maine"

March 28 – April 13, 2025

Almost, Maine

By John Cariani

Welcome to Almost, Maine, a place that’s so far north, it’s almost in Canada. It’s not quite a town because its residents never got around to getting organized, so it almost doesn’t exist. One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways.

A drawing of Annie and her dog Sandy, against a black background and the text "Annie the musical"

Annie (The Musical)

By Charles Strouse; lyrics by Martin Charnin; book by Thomas Meehan

Based on the 1924 comic strip Little Orphan Annie by Harold Gray, this celebration of family, optimism and the American spirit remains the ultimate cure for all the hard knocks life throws your way!

A farmhouse and windmill in sepia tones. The text is: "The Trip to Bountiful"

August 8 – 24, 2025

The Trip to Bountiful

By Horton Foote

This moving play tells the story of Carrie Watts, an elderly woman, who longs to escape the cramped Houston apartment where she lives with her protective son, Ludie, and her authoritarian daughter-in-law, Jessie Mae. Carrie wants to return to her beloved hometown of Bountiful, Texas, one final time before she dies. It’s the journey—and performance—of a lifetime.

An invitation that reads: "You are cordially invited to attend." with a bloody thumbprint on the envelope, a martini glass with lipstick on it, and a smoking gun. The text is: "Rumors," and the O is a smiley face.

October 10 – 26, 2025

Rumors

By Neil Simon

Possibly the best farce ever written by the modern king of comedy brings four couples together in one townhouse to celebrate the tenth wedding anniversary of the Deputy Mayor of New York City. But the party never begins because the host has shot himself (it's only a flesh wound!), and his wife is missing. His lawyer's cover-up gets progressively more difficult to sustain as the other guests arrive and nobody can remember who has been told what about whom. Doors slam and hilarity abounds as the couples get more and more crazed.

A cartoon of two older ladies and an older man, a fruitcake, and a pig. The text reads: "Fruitcakes"

December 5 – 21, 2025

Fruitcakes

By Julian Wiles

Theatre Coppell's holiday offering is the story of a troubled youth who ends up in a small town and encounters characters who, in their daily routine, teach him the value of family and friends. They include the Christmas tree salesman, the town's constable whose wife directs the annual Christmas pageant, as well as two lovable old ladies who use a secret recipe to make fruitcakes. Everyone will find holiday cheer in this warm, happy theatrical production.
